Clean up our coast trans media project

Clean up our coast trans-media project
University assignment
2016

Love your coast was a second year university project that had a group assignment brief. Part of our brief was to create a poster, mobile app, desktop website, and then one other form of media to advertise our cause, we choose a bag.

We choose to communicate the coast clean up by juxtaposing the ocean into a trash can or a skip, and using the life guards to add a sense of humour, this theme was what we continued right throughout all of our medias.
Our call to action uses black and white imagery and old style life guards and see gear to illustrate the problem. We used children to promote a sense of pathos in the viewers to insight some change and it adde to our play on words.
The poster is created to make the viewer empathetic towards our cause, so that they follow to our website and mobile app to find out more information.

the imagery is based of swiss international styled design using black and imagery and flat colour.

Quilt for a cause

Creating a quilt for Wellington Hospital for the children's ward University assignment 2016 This was a group assignment where we did a collaborative effort to build a market stall for all of our own class mates to come and create a patch for us to put together in a quilt to donate to the children's ward at Wellington Hospital. Here is our overall critique of how we went in our own market: We felt our stall was a super success for our market day! Everyone got amongst and participated which was awesome to see, and we got tonnes of positive feedback including a few people telling us they liked our stall the best and that our concept was the only one that actually addressed Immaterial Labours! Lots of people said they enjoyed actually sitting down and getting hands on, someone even said it reminded them of their childhood and arts and crafts sessions from when they were little. It was really awesome to see people get behind the cause and actually participate in our sta...
