About me

About me...

I'm Georgia Leah Robertson, I'm a designer currently studying in my third year of Massey Universities Bachelor of Design (Honours) majoring in visual communication Design, specialising in graphic design and branding, dabbling in photography and web,
My Passion for art and design came at a young age and it flourished through college when i was able to pick up a DSLR camera and begin incorporating photography into my own work.
I keep a clean and simple aesthetic and use a small amount of college throughout. I like to be able to use bold colours mixed in with photography to continue to keep in line with two creative skills that I have a real passion and love for.
I am inspired by many designers and very different works, but in particular, Swiss poster design - I love the use of colour and typography throughout the Swiss posters, and definitely a lot of bauhaus design - the use of photography and bold text.
Although visual communication is my major I tend to try and keep pushing myself to learn more skills creatively and push myself to do more and try break my usual design style.

Here is our overall critique of how we went in our own market: We felt our stall was a super success for our market day! Everyone got amongst and participated which was awesome to see, and we got tonnes of positive feedback including a few people telling us they liked our stall the best and that our concept was the only one that actually addressed Immaterial Labours! Lots of people said they enjoyed actually sitting down and getting hands on, someone even said it reminded them of their childhood and arts and crafts sessions from when they were little. It was really awesome to see people get behind the cause and actually participate in our sta...
